Lona is a calligrapher based in Los Angeles, California.

After attending her first calligraphy workshop in 2019 and taking countless online classes, her obsession with calligraphy and its related arts gradually unfolded. As of 2024, she works as a full-time scroll calligrapher with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. She values the use of traditional calligraphy in her work while she looks for balance in her personal calligraphy journey to be more free and expressive.

When not at her desk, Lona enjoys yoga, the ocean, and traveling. She grew up in New York City but opted for the perpetual sunshine of southern California on and off since 2002. She now lives in the South Bay with her husband and four furry, feline friends.
